Cost-Data Tool

  • Providing a tool under the title “Cost-Data Tool” for preparing progress statements and cost estimating quantities
  • Possibility of transferring the quantities obtained from the Quantity Takeoff based on the Quantity Takeoff Model to the Cost-Data Tool
  • Creating a Cost-Estimating Book “Data” node for each structure/sub-structure in the Projects nodes, with the ability to edit and delete
  • Possibility of printing and transferring progress statement information from the Cost-Data Tool to Microsoft Excel in separate sheets for each chapter, as well as a summary sheet of chapters for cost estimating

Escalation Calculations

  • Possibility of performing escalation calculations for progress statements based on the contract period index and the work period index(es) in the Cost-Data Tool
  • Possibility of determining the escalation reduction coefficient, if required
  • Possibility of determining how the period is considered, on a quarterly or monthly basis
  • Possibility of viewing and checking quarterly and monthly indices for Cost-Estimating Books and different years
  • Possibility of transferring indices to a text file as well as Microsoft Excel

  • Possibility of reading the index information related to a Cost-Estimating Book and a specific year from a text file
  • Possibility of reading the quantities and cost estimating results of previous progress statements by selecting the corresponding Cost-Estimating Book “Data” node to calculate the escalation of the current progress statement
