The CSDP-CE software/tool is a versatile environment with a wide range of functions. Currently, its main features are related to quantity takeoff and, subsequently, the preparation of the Cost-Estimate Book.
The purpose of developing this software was to create a tool for preparing quantity takeoff models for various structures. For example, bridges are one of the major structures in road construction projects, and various publications have been developed to establish standards for the construction and implementation of typical bridges. In this regard, the software provides the Possibility to create quantity takeoff models for such bridges, and one of the objectives of CSDP-CE is to create quantity takeoff models for these types of structures.
There are also many structures in irrigation and drainage projects, most of which are considered “typical” structures. This means that various publications have been prepared and issued to provide standards for the construction and implementation of these types of structures. Therefore, creating quantity takeoff models for such structures is another reason for developing this software.
